The BlackBerry PlayBook is a tablet computer made by Research In Motion. It uses QNX operating system.
LocalBar
Currently RIM doesn't allow OTA installation as in previous version of BlackBerry OS. Use Localbar to Install bar files directly from your playbook. Note that in recent OS version, you need to "root/jailbreak" your device.
Reverse Engineering
I will write some stuff here about reverse engineering QNX on PlayBook.
